Established in 2006, Hong Fa Logistics & Engineering was later passed down to the current Managing Director, Mr. Ong Wei Yang. Ever since, the company had advanced itself by acquiring a wide range of equipments which covers a wide spectrum of transportation & assembly of machineries, pre-fabricated concrete components, steel structures, and delicate products such as glass and facades.

From only 5 cranes, Hong Fa now owns in excess of 30 knuckle-boom cranes mounted on heavy trucks. These knuckle-boom cranes have superior lifting and capability in hoisting heavier loads which are able to lift in excess of 35 tonnes, reach 50 metres in vertical projection and have an outreach of 46 metres, far surpassing the conventional lorry cranes used in construction. With this, it has positioned Hong Fa to be one of the leading and largest knuckle-boom crane provider for different hoisting needs and also the ideal choice for projects that require heavier lifting and higher outreach.

Hong Fa’s business has flourished from an unheard company to being the first company in the world to acquire the longest knuckle boom crane, FASSI F1950 LONG. By also being one of the few companies to own majority of the 100 ton knuckle-boom cranes in Singapore, it has dramatically altered the productivity and efficiency in Singapore’s construction sector.

For the past year, Hong Fa has been bringing in trailers, lowbeds and prime movers to cater to the growing needs of their customers. At the same time, in order to achieve their mission of becoming a one-stop service crane provider, they are working to secure a depot to hold their growing quantity of crane fleets and equipments.

By increasing the economies of scale, Hong Fa will be able to emerge and stand on a higher level with the bigger players in the near future.
